  • Before you can use your Apple iPhone 7 Plus, you will need to activate it. If you have access to a Wi-Fi network, you can connect and activate over Wi-Fi. Otherwise, you will need a computer and iTunes.

    If you donʼt have iTunes on your computer, youʼll need to download and install it. In this example, weʼve used iTunes v12.5.1.

    Please note: the steps may differ depending on the options selected. Simply follow the prompts on the Apple iPhone 7 Plus to complete the setup.
  • 1. Touch Home to start setup.
  • 2. Touch the desired language.
  • 3. Touch the desired country or region.
  • 4. Touch Connect to iTunes.
  • 5. Connect the Apple iPhone 7 Plus to the computer using the USB cable. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically.
  • 6. In iTunes, ensure Set up as new iPhone is selected and click Continue.
  • 7. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is activated and you can continue setup.
  • 8. On the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, touch the desired option, e.g., Enable Location Services.
  • 9. Touch the desired option, e.g., touch Home to set up Touch ID.
  • 10. Lift and rest your finger on Home repeatedly (until the fingerprint image turns red).
  • 11. Touch Continue.
  • 12. Lift and rest your finger on Home repeatedly (until the fingerprint image turns red).
  • 13. Touch Continue.
  • 14. Enter a six-digit passcode.
  • 15. Re-enter the six-digit passcode.
  • 16. Touch Set Up as New iPhone.
  • 17. Enter your Apple ID.
  • 18. Touch Password.
  • 19. Enter your password.
  • 20. Touch Next.
  • 21. Wait while your Apple ID is set up.
  • 22. Touch Agree.
  • 23. Touch Next.
  • 24. Touch the desired option, e.g., Set Up Later in Wallet.
  • 25. Touch the desired option, e.g., Use iCloud Security Code.
  • 26. Enter your iCloud security code.
  • 27. Enter the verification code (sent to the number registered with iCloud).
  • 28. Touch the desired option, e.g., Set Up Siri (and follow the on-screen instructions).
  • 29. Once the set up is complete, touch Continue.
  • 30. Touch the desired option, e.g., Send to Apple.
  • 31. Touch Get Started.
  • 32. Touch Home to choose the desired haptic feedback.
  • 33. Touch Next.
  • 34. Touch Choose a View.
  • 35. Choose the desired view and touch Next.
  • 36. Touch Get Started.
