  • With the Find My iPhone feature, you can locate, lock or erase your Apple iPhone 8 if itʼs lost or stolen. It also prevents others from using or selling your phone, since your Apple ID and password will be required to erase or reactivate the phone.

    Note: Find My iPhone is linked to your Apple ID and iCloud. You must have an Apple ID with iCloud enabled on your Apple iPhone 8.
  • 1. Touch Settings.
  • 2. Touch your Apple ID.
    If you havenʼt signed in to your Apple ID, you will have the option to do so.
  • 3. Touch iCloud.
  • 4. Scroll to and touch Find My iPhone.
  • 5. If Find My iPhone is off, touch the Find My iPhone slider to turn it on.
  • 6. Find My iPhone is now on.
    To turn it off, touch the Find My iPhone slider again.
