  • WARNING — This will delete all your personal data, messages, contacts and other data on the phone.

    In the unlikely event that your phone stops responding to touches and key presses.
  • 1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the phone vibrates.
  • 2. The Android system recovery menu will appear.
  • 3. Use the Volume down button and scroll and highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  • 4. Once highlighted, press the Power button.
  • 5. Use the Volume down button to scroll and highlight Yes -- delete all user data.
  • 6. Once highlighted, press the Power button.
  • 7. Wait while the phone wipes data and formats data.
  • 8. With reboot system now highlighted, press the Power button.
  • 9. The phone will now return to the default settings.
