How to send text messages and multimedia messages on my Apple iPhone SE

- Text messages (SMS) are short, text-only messages sent over the mobile network. Multimedia messages (MMS) are similar to text messages except they allow you to add images, sounds or other files to the message.
- 1. Touch Messages.
- 2. Touch the Compose icon.
- 3. Enter the recipient's mobile phone number or touch the + icon to select someone from your contacts list.
- 4. Touch the desired contact.
- 5. Touch Text Message.
- 6. Enter your text message.
- 7. Touch the green arrow or blue arrow icon to send the message.
The green arrow indicates an SMS/MMS and the blue arrow indicates an iMessage. - 8. Or, to make this a multimedia message, touch the grey arrow icon.
- 9. To add a saved photo or take a new photo without leaving the message, touch the Camera icon.
You can also select the Personal Touch icon or the iMessage apps icon to add other media or effects to the message. - 10. To take a new photo, touch the Shutter icon.
- 11. Or, swipe left for recent photos and swipe right for camera and gallery options.
- 12. Touch Photo Library.
- 13. Touch the desired album.
- 14. Touch the desired picture.
- 15. Touch Choose.
- 16. Touch the green arrow or blue arrow icon to send the message.
- 17. Your message has been sent.
