  • 1. Swipe up to view Apps.
  • 2. Touch Settings.
  • 3. Scroll to and touch Security & location.
  • 4. Touch Fingerprint.
  • 5. Touch SET UP SCREEN LOCK.
  • 6. Touch the required option (e.g., Fingerprint + PIN).
  • 7. Enter a PIN.
  • 8. Touch CONTINUE.
  • 9. Re-enter the PIN.
  • 10. Touch OK.
  • 11. Change the notification options if desired and touch DONE.
  • 12. Touch Add fingerprint.
  • 13. Touch CONTINUE.
  • 14. Touch START.
  • 15. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor repeatedly until the scan is complete.
  • 16. Touch CONTINUE.
  • 17. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor repeatedly until the scan is complete.
  • 18. Touch DONE.
  • 19. Fingerprint Unlock has been set up.
